Ledger, 1775-1786.

The account book contains the pay accounts for men who served in Nicholson's company of the 3rd New York Regiment. Each man has a separate account and the names are roughly alphabetized. In the rear of the book are the accounts of Nicholson's store from 1784 to 1786. These provide the items purchased and amount due for each person who had an account with Nicholson.

John Nicholson came to Queensland in 1864 and purchased a property which was named "Grovely", and built "Grovely House". A proposal to build the church was raised in 1866, and work began in 1867. The foundation stone was laid by Sir George Bowen on 23 September 1867. The plan of the church was drawn by Charles Tiffin, Colonial Architect, and the church opened for services in February 1869.
